ママとパパから聞いてたFiniって子に会った。Finiはまだ生まれてから4カ月ぐらいしか経ってないのに、僕とさほど変わらないぐらい大きい。ボールとるのはまだ下手だったけど、動きは軽い。
久しぶりにアルトの家に行ってFiniには会ったけど、アルトには会えなかった。アルトは疲れてるからって、家から出てこなかった。残念。僕はアルトの庭のあちこちに「アルト、遊びに来たよ！」って証拠を残しておいた。
Finiのママは、Finiは、今日はちょっと疲れてるからおとなしいけど、お転婆ですよ、って言ってた。確かに今日は僕のパパの周りでおとなしく座ってる時間が長かった。僕とは、軽く自己紹介するだけで終わった。広いところで遊んだら、走り回るかな。Fini、また遊ぼう！！
I finally got to meet this “‘Fini” that Mom and Dad have been talking about. She is only about 4 months old, but she’s about as big as I am. She is not so good at fetching the ball, but she’s fast, agile, and light.
I met her at my friend Alto’s house. It was my first time there in a while because he has been too tired to play. I was a little disappointed that he couldn’t come out, but I left him some messages on a few of his favorite bushes.
Fini was a little quieter than I expected, but her Mom said she was a bit tired. I didn’t want to be too pushy on the first meeting, so I let her get some balls and didn’t bother her as she ran around. I wonder what it will be like when we get to go to a park together… That will be some fun running!
