As far as days of the week go, Sundays are definitely in my top 7. <\/p>\n

It starts off as the other days with Dad sneaking up on me while I sleep on the sofa. I try to pretend I am still asleep, but as he gets closer my tail starts to wag all on its own. The thumping sound it makes on the cushion matches the rhythm of my heart. <\/p>\n

Dad and I go out for the morning walk and when we get home, I run right up to Mom who smiles at me and starts to prepare my breakfast. By \u201cprepare\u201d, I mean \u201ctear open bag and pour food into a bowl\u201d. That is the same as every day. However, unlike other days, Sunday mornings don\u2019t feel as rushed. <\/p>\n

Later on, I spend time on the sofa. Mom spends time on the sofa. Dad spends time on the sofa. All 3 of us spend time on the sofa. I switch back and forth: head on Mom\u2019s lap for a bit and then a stretch with my head on Dad\u2019s. <\/p>\n

In the afternoons, sometimes the three of us go for a walk. We\u2019ll walk just to spend time together. And so I can pee. Sometimes, we will meet up with friends, which is both a good and bad thing: Good because it is FUN to play with my friends. Bad because I do not know when to stop, so my signal to Mom or Dad is just to fall over in exhaustion. <\/p>\n

I am usually not the only one to nap after getting home. Then after more time together, I get into night mode, which starts with me reminding Mom and Dad that it is time for my dinner, and then an hour or so after that, I remind them again that it is time for my pre-bedtime pee. I might give them a little while after we get back, but now I want to go to bed, so I whine until Mom and Dad get off the sofa so I can stretch out where it is most comfortable and still a little warm. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
