So there I was, playing around in the mud, having a good time. The next morning, when I woke up, Dad said, \u201cHey, your nose is swollen!\u201d Huh? I didn\u2019t feel swollen, but my Mom also got a little worried, so they decided to take me to the vet. I like my doctor and the nurses, and they are pretty good about giving me treats. I usually like to show off and jump up on the examination table for them. But this day, I was little nervous and tried to stay out of that room. I guess docs are smarter than dogs, and that is why they have \u201cno stick\u201d flooring. No way, I could pull my way out of there.<\/p>\n

 I don\u2019t remember it happening, but the doctor thought that maybe I was bitten by something because I poked my nose somewhere it didn\u2019t belong. But just to be sure he also took a sample to see if it was some kind of bacteria. For the time being, he thought some ointment would work well. That is OK then. I was so relieved. But a few days later, that part of my nose was even more swollen, had no hair, and was pinkish red! Mom was really worried, stroking me every day, willing me to get better. I went back to the doctor and he said the bacterial test was negative, so gave me a few more days of steroids. Not too much because Dad doesn\u2019t want me to \u2018roid out.<\/p>\n

Now, I feel like the handsome man who fell down. My nose is healing, but will  I ever get my good looks back? As it is, for the time being, when someone pulls out a camera, I cock my head to show my good side!<\/p>\n
