Here is how I have been spending my evenings for the last few years. I have dinner before Mom and Dad. Then they have dinner. I sniff around the table to see what they are eating, but I never try to take anything. I just want to smell. Maybe lick. If a piece of food ended up in my mouth, I wouldn\u2019t complain, though my stomach might. Anyway, after dinner, we all get on the sofa to watch TV. Mom on one side, dad on the other, and me in the middle. I curl up nice and tight so I can fit between them. Lately, it has seemed like my space is getting smaller. I try to push Mom on way and Dad the other, but sometimes it is hard to get just enough space. <\/p>\n

So the other day, I am thinking, \u201cwhat can I do to get more comfortable?\u201d and then it hit me: there is a whole other sofa that no one is using. It\u2019s been sitting there the entire time I have been here and it is like i never noticed it. It\u2019s big. It\u2019s soft. And now, it\u2019s all mine!!! <\/p>\n

I could kick myself for not thinking of this earlier. I really could. Or I wish I could. On deeper reflection, I guess I can\u2019t kick myself. I have four legs and I can\u2019t kick myself? What is up with that? I am going to take a nap and think about that canine conundrum. <\/p>\n
